My series of artistic work focuses on the use of glass, metals and clay; natural materials which are inherently rigid yet become fragile and fluid through the application of heat.

The juxtaposition of jagged and delicate intrigues and inspires me.  Whether the concept of the art is contemporary yet old, kinetic yet fluid, or defined yet abstract. . . this unique harmony of matter and composition is the cornerstone of my art.

The use of intense heat on such raw materials allows me to explore the relationship between physical reactions and fascinating fusion of materials, thereby creating a malleable medium which enables my spontaneity of design.

The size of my art is purposeful; whether created as table top or public sculpture, the scale that I work with has the ability to draw the eye, mind and soul into a conversation with each piece.
